Almost by accident, I discovered the joy of seeing the way that sunlight shining on (and through) water droplets on grass can create some of the most interesting macro images. In this case, an autumn leaf a few feet away creates the warm background color, and the drops that are in focus sparkle with the sunlight while the remaining out-of-focus drops create a repeating circle motif.
