I spotted this hummingbird at a flower bed near where I was looking for interesting insects with my macro lens. Fortunately, I had brought a second camera with a telephoto lens, and I took a succession of photos of this little jewel as it allowed me to get ever closer to it! Here it is all fluffed-up against the vibrant blooms that it returned to just moments after this photo!
